In a meeting today, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, met with Major General Ferenc Kajári, the new KFOR commander.
While congratulating him on his new duty, President of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the North Atlantic Alliance's commitment to Kosovo's freedom, as well as the multinational force's aid in maintaining a safe environment in Kosovo.
Speaker of the Assembly Konjufca valued the presence of KFOR as a very important one, emphasizing that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, including the Assembly, are committed to working closely with the peacekeeping force in order to achieve Kosovo's aim of joining NATO in the near future.
